Medical Wellness Programs

We offer four different Medical Wellness Programs to match your needs.

1. Focused Wellness Medicine Program*

*Cost varies based on areas treated and the number of treatments, please contact KLMD to find out details. 

• Initial consultation with Dr. Litwin (1/2 hour)¹
• Non-invasive SculpSure™ treatment for permanent fat removal for the abdominal and love handles (flanks) areas combined with skin tightening TempSure Firm™ treatment for these areas.⁵
• Focused laboratory testing (primarily metabolism related)²
• ProLon® Fasting Mimicking Diet⁴    This is recommended pre and post body sculpting treatments to increase the benefits of these treatments.
• healthReset^TM Detoxification Support Protocol. ⁶  This is recommended pre and post body sculpting treatments to increase the benefits of these treatments.

2. Non-invasive Body Sculpting and Skin Rejuvenation Programs⁵

• Various packages of these cutting-edge aesthetic medicine treatments are available, based on the most effective combinations and your specific needs  
• SculpSure™ “Warm Sculpting” permanent fat removal: available for abdominal area, love handles (flanks), outer and inner thighs, back, and area under the chin.
• Tempsure Envi™: Comfortable, quick treatment sessions for the face with no downtime. You can return to your usual activities immediately after each session. Sessions last about 20-60 minutes depending on the area being treated. Radiofrequency gentle heating of the skin results in collagen rejuvenation to temporarily improve skin tightness and the appearance of forehead lines, frown lines, crow’s feet, smile lines, wrinkles of the chin, and cellulite. Treatments can be performed for all skin types, any time of year. A series of treatments is required in order to provide optimal results. The number of treatments required varies based on age and baseline skin quality. After completing your initial series of treatments, it is suggested that you return yearly for a shorter number of treatments to make sure your skin is always looking its best, as no one is immune to the effects that aging has on the skin. 
• TempSure Firm^TM: Similar to TempSure Envi, but intended for the less delicate skin of the body. Radiofrequency gentle heating and a specialized massage head work together to stimulate collagen rejuvenation, temporarily resulting in younger, more evenly textured, “tighter” skin, with fewer wrinkles and reduced appearance of cellulite. Can be performed for all skin types, any time of year. A series of treatments is required in order to provide optimal results. The number of treatments required varies based on age and baseline skin quality but usually is between 5 and 8 short treatment sessions over several weeks. Each session is typically only 5 minutes per area: 5 minutes for a full abdomen and 10 minutes for both thighs. Results may be seen as soon as a few weeks to one month after your last treatment.

3. healthReset^{TM 6} Detox and ProLon 5 Day Fasting Mimicking Diet³ Programs

• These highly effective programs are available to you through KLMD Wellness without purchasing a Focused Wellness Medicine Program or Aesthetic Medicine Treatments, although we always suggest a consultation with Dr. Litwin prior to starting these treatments to make sure they are right for you.  If you have any medical conditions, take medications, or otherwise do not meet criteria for ProLon (see ProLon page for details), we definitely advise you to meet with Dr. Litwin before using this program.

4. Comprehensive Wellness and Functional and Internal Medicine Program $1600

• Comprehensive Wellness and Functional and Internal Medicine Services are provided through our affiliation with the Sandy Hook Clinic
• The initial package fee includes the following two services: 
  1. Initial consultation with Dr. Litwin  (1 ½ to 2 hours)¹ 
  2. Consultations with nutritionist (usually after lab results are available) with Nutritional Program personalized for your needs (includes 1 ½ hours which is usually split over two appointments)
• Follow-up consultation with Dr. Litwin to review labs and generate a personalized treatment plan (up to 2 hours) is billed according to standard hourly rates as set by the Sandy Hook Clinic³ 
  • *this consultation is not included in the initial consult package, cost will vary according to the amount of time required to review lab results and create treatment plan.  
• Advanced Laboratory Testing will be performed to assess your current health status comprehensively.²
• Additional consultative services for Dr. Litwin and Nutritionists (in-person, phone, video, email) are billed according to standard hourly rates as set by the Sandy Hook Clinic³
• Treatment plans will include recommendations for lifestyle medicine, nutrition, nutritional supplements⁴, and medications as necessary. Aesthetic Medicine Treatments are not included in this package but are available through KLMD Wellness separately.⁷

Important Information:

• All fees are payable at the time of service. 
• We do not participate with any health insurance companies, including Medicare. If you have Medicare, you will be required to sign a Medicare Private Contract with Dr. Litwin prior to your initial consultation, which states that you agree not to submit a claim under the Medicare program for any services that Dr. Litwin provides and that no reimbursement under the Medicare program will be provided.  
• ¹The cost of consultations with Dr. Litwin may be covered or partially covered through your out of network health insurance benefits. You will be provided an invoice with appropriate CPT and ICD-10 codes to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. 
• The cost of consultations with our nutritionists are not usually covered by health insurance, however you can certainly check with your insurance company about this and you will be provided an invoice to submit for reimbursement. 
• ²The cost of laboratory testing is in addition to any services provided by Dr. Litwin and are not included in any Service Packages.  The cost of many tests is  significantly covered by health insurance in many cases. However, we always suggest speaking with your health insurance representative first before having testing done.  Our administrative staff can provide additional advice concerning this.  
• ³Standard hourly rate for Dr. Litwin set by the Sandy Hook Clinic is currently 550$/hour. Standard hourly rate for nutrition consultations is currently 250$/hour. [need to confirm this] 
• ⁴Nutritional supplements, including the ProLon® Fasting Mimicking Diet, may be purchased through KLMD Wellness [link to page for my FullScript and Get Healthy Stores on this website], the Sandy Hook Clinic or through a local store or reputable internet supplement distributors.  We strongly suggest that you purchase the exact products through KLMD Wellness or the Sandy Hook Clinic that we recommend in order to make your treatment as successful as possible.  Doing this ensures that the products you are taking are of a professional grade from highly reputable companies making the highest quality and purity products, as free as possible of common potentially harmful substances (heavy metals, artificial flavors and colors, fillers). These substances are unfortunately present in many lower grade over the counter supplements. 
• ⁵ Aesthetic Medicine treatments such as SculpSure^TM and TempSure^TM are available in different packages. Cost varies based on the type and number of treatments involved. For further information please contact KLMD Wellness. Aesthetic Medicine treatments are rarely covered by health insurance, however you may be able to use your HSA, so check with your HSA representative about this. Financing is available for Aesthetic Medicine treatments and Focused Wellness Packages
• ⁶The healthReset^TM Detox Protocol is provided through the Sandy Hook Clinic which sets the rates this program.  You are welcome to purchase the healthReset ^TM Package which includes a set of high quality supplements and meal replacement shakes or purchase the healthReset ^TM package without those supplements and obtain similar high quality detoxification support supplements and meal replacement shakes through KLMD Wellness or purchase these exact products on your own. 
• ⁷Comprehensive Wellness and Functional Medicine Program does not include ProLon® or healthReset^TM or Aesthetic Medicine Treatments, however those can be obtained in addition through KLMD Wellness at additional cost.
